Why we do it

To work.
And to keep.

We keep coming back to
one old instruction.

In Genesis, we're told God put Adam in the garden to work it and keep it. For us, that means participating in useful acts of creation, stewarding well what has been given to us, and using the gift of work to connect with the people around us.

Kingdom work isn't always glamorous, but we desire to glorify God in all the things we craft and tend, both big and small.

Who we are

A small family.
An open workshop.

We’re a small family in Wisconsin’s Driftless region.

There’s an engineer’s curiosity in the mix, a tenacious homemaker’s resourcefulness, a love of making, and a desire to care well for what God has given us. WardWorks is the place where those interests can sit together without having to become the same thing.

The work will change as we learn. The reason for doing it will stay the same.

The WardWorks

A place for useful things.
And the people behind them.
